We are closing on a year 2018 punctuated by many highlights, illuminations and amazing events. Our greetings animation is focusing on the 130th anniversary of the Eiffel Tower that we will celebrate in 2019!

In 2019, the Eiffel Tower will celebrate its 130th anniversary ! Would you join us to celebrate this important milestone?

1889 was the year when the Tower's building was achieved, when the Tower was inaugurated and when it was opened to the public.

The Eiffel Tower was built by Gustave Eiffel between 1887 and 1889. Such a technical feat was the main focus point of the 1889 Exposition universelle (World Fair) taking place in Paris from May 15th to November 6th, 1889. Finished in a record time of 2 years, 2 months and 5 days, it was inaugurated on March 31st, then opened to the public on May 15th, the very same day as the opening of the Exposition universelle.
