Work began in early 2020 to resurface the walkways leading to the Eiffel Tower’s entry points.

The Eiffel Tower is renovating the North pillar elevator

The North pillar and its elevator closed in the fall of 2018 in order to begin a complete renovation. The other two elevators at the East and West pillars will continue to provide visitors with access from the ground to the 2nd floor.

International projects call to redesign the Eiffel Tower Area

“The Eiffel Tower Great Site: discovering, approaching, visiting”: Paris City Council is set to launch an international call for projects with a view to enhancing the visitor experience in the area surrounding the Eiffel Tower. The project will be completed by 2023.
