A timeless classic. Countless declarations of love and marriage proposals have been made at the Eiffel Tower. This year, we have a few surprises in store for the romantics out there looking to light up their love story.
A romantic moment at a height
Why not dare to take your flame for a romantic trip to the Eiffel Tower from February 10 through 14? The conditions will be perfect from the ground upwards as you travel to the Top, then stop off at the second and first floors on the way back down.
At the top, the famous champagne bar is the ideal setting in which to tell that special someone how much you love them, with the City of Lights at your feet. On the menu, the bar offers a duo of a “glass of champagne with caviar” or a “glass of champagne with a macaron”.
On the 2nd floor, the Pierre Hermé macaroon bar offers a variety of flavors to eat in as well as assortments to take home, including two chocolate flavors created exclusively for the Eiffel Tower!
On the 1st floor, the winter terrace and its transparent dome will be adorned with flowers for the occasion. Come and take a stroll from February 10 to enjoy a gourmet and romantic break! Photo spots are waiting for you in the Ferrié Pavilion and on the terrace so you can take selfies in a stunning decor or ask one of the professional photographers available to capture the magical moment for you.
Send your loved one a card from the Eiffel Tower
Especially for Valentine’s Day this year, the mailbox is making its return to the Tower. From February 12 through 14, you will find a special lovers’ mailbox in the official Eiffel Tower shop on the first floor for you to send a card to your loved one. No need to buy a stamp, the Eiffel Tower itself will take care of sending it!
A romantic and gourmet treat in the restaurants
Le Jules Verne and Madame Brasserie, the Eiffel Tower’s two restaurants, are also going all out for Valentine’s Day with their special romantic gourmet menus. Don't miss the opportunity to come and try out Madame Brasserie, the Parisian brasserie spearheaded by Thierry Marx. An idyllic setting for dinner with a view of the City of Light or into the heart of the Tower and its nighttime illuminations!
