For the first time in France, Japanese artist Akihiro Nishino will present more than 80 luminous pictures at the Eiffel Tower. This well-known author of illustrated books in Japan will present works based on his books "Poupelle of Chimney Town,” which takes place during Halloween, and "Tick Tock, The Promised Clock Tower.”

Akihiro Nishino’s works will be on display at the Gustave Eiffel Lounge on the 1st floor of the Eiffel Tower on October 26 and 27 from 9:30 am to 9:00 pm. All our visitors are welcome to come discover the colorful and poetic world of this Japanese illustrator, who is also a comedian and scriptwriter. The luminous pictures ensure a "waking dream" experience that will delight both young and old! Touch-screen tablets will also be available for visitors to learn more about Akihiro Nishino's creations.

Akihiro Nishino's fourth book, ‘Poupelle of Chimney Town’, which has sold 370,000 copies since its publication in 2016, addresses the themes of ecology, tolerance and passing on values from generation to generation. There’s even a film adaptation planned for 2020.
